Remote Junior Business Analyst
Insight Global is looking for a junior business analyst to join the team sitting fully remote in support of a Federal client, This is NOT a traditional technical IT analyst; rather more a functional analyst supporting a Business Architecture business unit.
The Analyst will be responsible for the following:
Serve as a business analyst supporting the Operations and Quality Assurance (OQA) team Leverage relational database (e.
g.
, SQL) content for reporting purposes Utilize Power BI to develop dashboards for data analytics and reporting Assist with maintenance of an existing metadata extract developed using the PHP language/XML to pull from Microsoft Visio Assist with proposing solutions that solve/alleviate client problems Develop and share intellectual capital that furthers team efficiency or performance (e.
g.
, documenting internal practices, proposals to improve team practices, etc.
) Participate in quality control or configuration management within a team setting Provide regular status reports and quarterly status briefs on ongoing team work efforts Facilitate team meetings and develop materials, including briefings, agendas, and minutes 3 years relevant experience in a related field Bachelors degree in a technical discipline or equivalent years of experience Familiarity with database and business intelligence tools for database maintenance, analysis, and reporting (e.
g.
, SQL Server, Power BI, etc.
) Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including SharePoint and Teams Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server or relational databases Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Microsoft Power BI or equivalent Experience performing aspects of business architecture, enterprise architecture, or system architecture duties a plus Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture Frameworks (e.

, TOGAF, DoDAF, FEAF, Zachman) a plus Familiarity with enterprise architecture tools such as Microsoft Visio, NoMagic Cameo Enterprise Architecture, or equivalent a plus Familiarity with ASP.
NET, C#, PHP, XML, UML, or other software development experience a plus Recommended Skills Agenda Development Business Architecture Business Intelligence C Sharp (Programming Language) Configuration Management Dashboard Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
